We first treat the base of each palm or tree with a systemic insecticide which is taken up into the vascular system of the tree. Because these insects are literally sucking the liquid out of the leaves, they will receive a lethal dose of the product. In addition, a foliar application will be performed to reduce the current adult populations on the trees.

Our Rugose Spiraling Whitefly Treatment Program is a twice a year service that provides control over your current infestation, as well as protection for the rest of your landscape against future outbreaks, for 6 months at a time.

Systemic insecticide is the only way to ensure long-lasting control while reducing the need to constantly spray. Spiraling whiteflies will be present in your neighborhood and they will try to re-infest your treated palms, but you can rest assured that Larue will stop them in their tracks for 6 months after treatment.
